Overview

500W Pure Power

BAFANG is the world’s biggest manufacturer of hub motors for e-bikes. VoltBike Mariner is using Bafang G06 series geared motor which provides 80 N.m. max torque and up to 750w of peak power. The Bafang G06 series is remarkable for its high efficiency and power thanks to the integrated nylon planetary gears.

Long Range Battery

VoltBike Mariner is using 48v 17.5Ah (840Wh) battery pack with Samsung INR18650-35E cells. The battery pack is assembled by Phylion which is one of the largest battery manufacturers for ebike batteries with facilities in China, Europe and India.

Extra Smooth Ride

Voltbike Mariner comes standard with lockout suspension Mozo FatMan-20 which can handle up to 5.2 inches wide tire. Designed for quick release axles and bolt on axles. 135mm dropout, 32mm stanchions, 210mm steerer tube, 90mm travel. Weight is only 7lbs.

Sturdy Rear Rack and Mudguards

VoltBike Mariner comes standard with rigid metal fenders which can sustain the highest abuse on the trail. Also comes with rear rack which features extra wide tubing so you can carry more load compared to our rivals.

Puncture Resistant Fat Tire

Fat tire bikes provide improved grip and traction on the most troublesome terrain by adding extra contact surface. Voltbike Mariner comes with puncture resistant tires Kenda Juggernaut K-Shield. Reflective liners are adding extra visibility at night.

Hydraulic Stopping Power

Voltbike Mariner is using Tektro Auriga hydraulic front and rear disc brakes with 180mm rotors. Tektro Auriga comp disc brakes features an open system design using non-corrosive and environment-friendly mineral oil. Features dual piston design, melt forged caliper body with automatic positioning via front or rear adapters.

Always Visible

Mariner is equipped with a high lumen front LED light with a consistent, well-focused beam pattern. Rear LED light powered using the main battery pack. Features brake light functionality that is activated any time the brakes are applied. Reflective tire liner ensures you are visible from the side.

Simple Controls

Our redesigned cockpit includes large easy to read LCD screen which shows all the important information like speed, battery level and current load. Get instant power with the integrated half-twist throttle with and on/off button which helps prevent accidental activation.

Easy to Fold

Mariner can be easily folded to fit anywhere and also saves space at home wherever you choose to store it! When folded it measures at only 45"x26"x19" (length x height x width).

Extremely Customizable

Customize your Mariner with over 20 VoltBike certified accessories. Choose a top tube bag to carry your cell phone or pannier bag to carry bigger cargo. Add front rack on your bike to carry even more load.

Overall a very good experience

It was an easy process, from reading the reviews and learning the bikes attributes. A local bike store on Van Isle (that has been set up by Voltbike) is also available should I have any issues or concerns. I felt the price was very reasonable. Ordering my bike over the phone was easy. Ordered on a Saturday and delivered 3 days later by a freight company (prepaid by Voltbike) that were very good and helpful offloading the bike and placing it where I wanted it. The bike and box arrived in perfect shape and was packaged very well. The bike had been gone over by the Voltbike team and everything was tight and secure. All I had to do was set up the handle bars and install the pedals. The hard copy manual was a great aid to learning my bike and e-bike maintenance. Operating this bike and has been simple for the first few days that I've owned it. I'm confident that I have a very good bike with good follow up service should I need it. Looking forward to fun miles and riding ahead. I'm pushing seventy! Old dog can learn new tricks and can ride again. The Mariner Step-Thru bike is easy to ride. Liking it very much so far.

Excellent quality/price ratio and great in-person phone support

We bought 2 Mariner Step-through. I was impressed by the quantity of help videos on the site. I was really glad that an actual person answered the phone for sales information and after sales follow-up questions. The bikes where really easy to unpack and where 99% already assembled with the battery pre-charged. There was one small error in the options selected over the phone. One of the bikes has a color display instead of monochrome I had chosen. Of course, it was my wife's bike.
