How do we ship
We ship our bikes fully assembled. This means that the bike will arrive with both wheels attached so we minimize the assembly required at receiving. Because of the size of the package, we are required to use LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers. Due to the size and nature of the electric bike, shipments can usually be carried by ground shipping only.
Our USA warehouse facility is conveniently located in Blaine, WA which is right on the border between US and Canada. There is no sales tax for any order shipped in the USA. All bikes are shipped from this location with YRC Freight which is custom LTL (less than truckload) carrier proven to be better than Fedex, UPS or similar. YRC Freight takes extra care for every package and ensures that the bike arrives without damage. Voltbike is having an exclusive agreement with YRC Freight and our customers can enjoy quality service at an affordable price.
The price of $49 includes delivery to commercial address or delivery to your local YRC Freight service center. Delivery to a residential address is extra $30. If you prefer delivery to a residential address, please contact us after you place your order. A typical size of our bike package in inches is 74*13*40 and weight's 83lbs. For your convenience, the package do have 2 handles on each side.
Once a new order is placed, each bike is individually inspected and tested. Our bike mechanics are doing complete mechanical tune-up. Performance test is executed on each of the electrical components. Once the bike has passed the VoltBike inspection process, it is then assembled based on your specific modifications, including upgrades and added accessories.
This process typically takes 2-3 business days. In the summer season, this process may take up to 7 business days. If this happens then we usually indicate this on the product details page so new customers are aware of the delays. We do everything we can to minimize your wait time. In the summer season you can see us working extended ours and many times covering overnight shifts.
Shipping and delivery times vary depending on factors such as current demand, holidays and season. Usually the demand for our brand triples in the summer riding season. We usually ship our bikes in an average of 2 business days after the order is placed. In the high season, this may go up to 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your bike is ready to leave our facility.
